Well here we are again, stuttering down the league table and putting out terrible performances that ultimately got Unai Emery sacked. I'd be lying if I said I'm surprised though, our performances had been horrendous for the past couple of weeks and only Manchester United have that kind of infinite patience to wait for a manager.
Freddie has taken over on an interim basis and is already staking his claim for the job. He's inexperienced, young and hungry. Those three traits could sway the pendulum anywhere and we have the entire season to see how that goes. I wish him well and I hope it comes good.
